I wanted to let everyone know about the experience I've had with
some of our sponsors. I'm sure you've had very similar experiences with
them.
The mahogany and Italian spruce for my guitar came from Bob at RC
Tonewoods. John Mayes had built from it, and when Hesh posted
the pic of his set, I desparately wanted some. I emailed Bob just to see if
he'd possibly hold a set for me, and he did. This stuff is on the exclusive
side of things, and he pulled it for me. Later, he personally went through
his Italian tops and selected one that met a description John had given.
THEN Bob thicknessed the wood and gave me a joinable edge. Pricing
was absolutely phenominal.
Shane at High Mountain Tonewood exchanged a number of emails with
me and even took some pictures. For what? A massive $16 purfling sale.
These guys are tremendous. They each went beyond the call of duty for
me and I want to publically thank and support them.
